Hello Athens! I’m Evelyn Sanders bringing you fresh deals & offers worth knowing. Whether you’re a student, renter, or local looking to stretch each dollar, here are several ongoing specials from businesses right here in Athens that deserve your attention.
1. Discount Appliances at Appliances 4 Less
If you’re shopping for a fridge, washer, or dryer, check out Appliances 4 Less on Alps Road. They offer up to 60% off MSRP on “scratch & dent” appliances—LED Samsung, GE, LG, and KitchenAid among the brands—with full testing and a one-year third-party warranty. Local delivery, installation, and financing make it even more accessible. (122 Alps Rd, open daily)
2. Student & Local Food Deals via Perkly
Perkly is doing work for students and locals this week: you can get 5% off your entire order at Prince Market (excluding tobacco), $3 off any size pizza at Yossi Kitchen, or a buy-one-get-25%-off deal on bowls and platters there. The app also sends rotating PINs you redeem in-store—no heavy lifting. Helpful if you want treats without stretching your budget.
3. Everyday Savings with Local Coupons
The Little Coupon Book of Athens (TLCB) is in its 30th year—print or digital, it’s a quarterly gold mine for deals. Recent perks include a “free coffee with breakfast purchase” at Jake’s Place, a “buy one entree get another half-price” offer at La Fiesta on the Eastside, and student discounts at San Angel Cocina. Also, look there for hair deals, fitness promos, and family-friendly food offers.
4. Ongoing Hot Deals from Athens Business Chamber
Don’t forget the chamber’s “Hot Deals” page: Classic Citiva gives a 10% discount daily for active military and veterans—no special coupon needed. If you or someone you care about qualifies, that one’s solid.
5. Shop & Support Downtown with Discount Cards
Want to help local stores while saving? Downtown Athens shops participate in a Discount Card program through ShopDowntown.org. These cards unlock special offers across boutiques, cafés, and services—plus, funds from card sales help promote small local retailers. A win-win for community & wallet.
With these deals, you don’t have to wait for a big sale—just a little awareness can go a long way. I’ll keep digging for fresh promo alerts; feel free to reach out if you’ve spotted a standout offer. Happy saving!
